I am so grateful that you have chosen to join me in “Rumi’s field.” It is in this field that I work with spiritual seekers to fully embrace their human experience and love themselves no matter what.
So often as spiritual seekers, we are looking for answers. We are looking for ways, tools, and skills to get us to enlightenment; to assist us in living in our Truth, living in the Light. In search of the light, many of us end up pushing away the darkness. We think that by running away from what makes us feel uncomfortable, we will get to the light faster. In fact, I find the exact opposite to be true.
Embracing the darkness, the shadow, the "negativity" we face is what opens us to the light. I have found time and time again, that by lovingly accepting my humanity and all that it entails, I find myself truly at peace.
We are Divine Beings having a human experience. Both our Divinity and our humanity are worthy of love, celebration and most importantly, full expression. In our Divinity we have one Truth (with a capital "T") ~ a Truth that is constant. That Truth is that our essence is LOVE. As human beings, we have many truths as well (with a lower case "t") ~ truths that change moment to moment. One moment we may feel depressed, angry or judgmental and the next moment we may feel joyful. Whatever we are feeling or thinking is "true" for us in that moment.
As spiritual seekers we so much want to focus on our Truth, our loving essence, that we resist our "truth", how we feel in the moment. We often criticize ourselves for not being more loving, joyful or accepting. When we do this, we negate our humanity and actually move further away from the love and light we were seeking in the first place. Instead, when we allow ourselves to feel what we are feeling, think what we are thinking, need what we are needing, when we release our resistance and accept, embrace and give voice to that momentary "truth," we miraculously find ourselves in the light.
We know that Spirit, God, whatever you choose to name "All That Is" loves us unconditionally. My intention is to give you the experience of what it feels like to have a human being love and accept you no matter what. To meet you in that place beyond right-doing and wrong-doing, so that you learn to do it for yourself.
I have a powerful presence and a deeply loving consciousness. My intention is to provide a safe and sacred space for you to explore, integrate, and embrace your truth.
Wherever you are, I will meet you there…
